Biography
Charles D. Niehaus brings over 37 years of experience representing corporate and business clients across diverse areas such as securities, venture capital, corporate, banking, international law, and renewable energy. His primary focus includes:
- Providing comprehensive guidance on corporate and business formation, encompassing the preparation of limited liability company agreements, executive employment agreements, employee equity plans, and ensuring securities compliance.
- Advocating for start-up companies in venture capital financing, involving the preparation of Private Placement Memorandum and documents for Series A, B, and C stage financing.
- Representing financial institutions in various capacities, including formation, acquisitions, shareholder matters, commercial lending, bank litigation, and regulatory compliance.
- Assisting clients in the implementation of global expansion and sourcing strategies internationally.
Chuck graduated from the University of Toledo Law School (J.D., 1986) and Lawrence Technological University (B.S., Civil Engineering, 1982). He is an active member of the Toledo Bar Association and the Ohio Bar Association. Currently, Chuck serves on the Board of Directors of a publicly held bank holding company and its subsidiary bank, and he is actively involved in several charitable boards.
